Soil to Soul

Re-greening desert ecosystems for social and environmental life to thrive

About Us

The name Soil to Soul was inspired by the spiritual connection we feel with the earth and all its inhabitants. We seek to live in harmony with nature and each other as we work to heal the degraded ecosystem and nourish the collective soul.

Our mission is to provide a blueprint for ecosystems facing desertification and water scarcity. Over 38 percent of the world's land surface is threatened with desertification, endangering planet habitability. With rapid climate change, we need to adapt to increasingly challenging environmental conditions while regenerating the land.

We do this by incorporating permaculture principles and ethics within our social and land practices. Taking the Global Eco-village Network Framework we aim to address the social, environmental, cultural, and ecological components of our projects in order to take a holistic system thinking approach.
